Grancek Dominik (Junior)
Junior was shown with considerable success until he retired from the ring in 2006. He has also produced quality puppies, including a litter of 7 puppies from Pendevour Dana at Grancek (Purdy), who sadly died in 2006, and I retained a dog and a bitch from this litter (Ellis and Elkie). A litter sister is with the Pendevour Cesky Terriers (Norina Evans), and another litter sister is with Lynne and Colin Richardson (Talyot).
Junior was a confident, friendly and outgoing dog who got on well with children and adults as well as other dogs, and was completely reliable with farm stock, although he did enjoy chasing crows! He was a dog with a strong character, but was affectionate and obedient. He was easy to handle in every way, and a pleasure to live with. His son Ellis (Int./Multi/Cze. Ch. Grancek Early One Morning) probably Junior's best known descendent, after an illustrious show career, very sadly died in August 2015. Both Junior and Ellis are very much missed.
